The Clackamas Bookshelf turns 11!
When we turned 1, we had given away 8,888 books. Today, that total is 239,620—thousands of bedtime stories, favorite lands, and both imaginary (and very real) friends discovered by local kids.
But our story isn’t over…
We need your help to Fill a Bookshelf so more children in our community can experience the life-changing power of reading—from sparking hobbies and preparing for careers to engaging in civic life and exploring new ideas.
This last school year was our biggest yet—33,333 books were gifted. A new school year starts soon and you can help local children fill their bookshelves. Together, we can give thousands of books to thousands of kids!
